United to continue our support for Ukraine

At Sends, our commitment to stand with Ukraine has never wavered. Since the first days of the war, we have worked to stand alongside the Ukrainian people both at home and abroad. Today, as thousands rebuild their lives here in the United Kingdom, we remain dedicated to helping them find stability, security, and hope.

Over the past year, Sends has continued to assist Ukrainian refugees settling in the UK through a range of initiatives. To better serve individuals establishing new lives here, we have launched a permanent promotion — United by Sends — offering free account opening in three currencies (GBP, EUR, and USD).

This initiative reflects our belief that financial inclusion should never be defined by circumstance. We know that many displaced families are working tirelessly to shape their futures, and we are proud to play a small part in making that journey a little easier.

Alongside our ongoing charitable efforts, Sends is preparing to begin a new partnership with UNICEF in November 2025, supporting vital programmes for children and families affected by the war. Together, we aim to deliver practical assistance where it is needed most and continue building a future founded on compassion and opportunity.

“Standing with Ukraine is not a temporary campaign for us — it is a lasting commitment,” says Alona Shevtsova, CEO of Sends. “From the very beginning, we understood that true support means action. Whether by helping families start anew or by working with global organisations like UNICEF, we remain devoted to restoring hope and dignity to those whose lives have been changed by the war.

At Sends, we believe that kindness, unity, and shared responsibility can bring about meaningful change — not only in times of hardship, but for generations to come.
